On 1st June
2015, Real Data Matrix (RDM) is
proud to be invited as Project Team members for the official launching of the country’s
first elevated Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) - Sunway Line by the Prime Minister
Datuk Seri Najib Razak in Sunway, a historical event for the nation.
The BRT – Sunway Line
project costs RM634 million, utilizes an eco-friendly
transportation system of 15 electrical buses to
serve 500,000 users in Bandar Sunway and Subang Jaya, across a 5.4km dedicated
lanes line. There are seven stations linking Setia Jaya KTM and future Kelana Jaya LRT extension line in
USJ6, and one park-and-ride facility at Sunway University Monash station. The dedicated elevated
bus lane is said to be the first elevated BRT in Southeast Asia.

The construction of the BRT
– Sunway Line project comprises of three work packages - Facility Works (FW),
System Works (SW) and electric Bus (e-Bus), in which RDM as part of the TechLab
Natto (TN) consortium, provides the overall Project Management Office (PMO) to oversee
and ensure a successful delivery of the System Works (SW) package for
PRASARANA. The SW package comprises of 8 main system components, in which RDM
has worked closely with the Project Team and PRASARANA to complete the overall
System Integration exercise with FW, e-Bus, Card Access System (CAS) and Automated
Fare Collection (AFC), involving close to 200 personnel. With close
collaboration and team work between all parties involved, the BRT project has
been completed three weeks ahead of
schedule.
